Over a decade ago, I created the hashtag #Our67 as a way to celebrate and unify Alabama’s 67 counties— each one rich in its own industry, culture, and heritage. It stemmed from a deep belief that every corner of Alabama belongs to all of us, and that our collective strength comes from embracing the contributions of each county. I have toured all of Alabama’s 67 counties over 25 times. Whether it is the industries that drive our economy, the natural beauty that inspires us, or the traditions that bind us together, #Our67 was born from a desire to remind every Alabamian that we are part of something greater. My hashtag is a reflection of honor, unity, and a shared commitment to the progress of our state.
