Addie’s Place: Providing Hope and Healing for Child Abuse Survivors

Today, Addie’s Place, a children’s advocacy center serving Winston and Marion counties, hosted an open house to share its mission with the community. The center provides healing services to child abuse survivors and offers a safe place where victims can share their stories once—recorded with law enforcement or the DA’s office present—which helps them avoid the trauma of repeated courtroom retellings. During the event, we toured the facility, met with staff and board members, and explored ways to support their vital work.
